Description

This adventure begins with a guided visit to the archaeological site of the Copalita Pyramids. There, you will learn about the history and culture of the ancient inhabitants of the region, who built the pyramids more than 2,000 years ago. A local guide will take you through the different buildings and structures of the site, explaining their function and significance. After the visit to the archaeological site, the tour will continue with a hike through the tropical forest surrounding the Copalita Pyramids. During the walk, you will be able to observe the local flora and fauna, such as birds, butterflies and howler monkeys. In addition, the local guide will explain the importance of the tropical forest as an ecosystem and its relationship with the culture of the region.
