PreHispanic Temazcal Experience

After picking You up at the very end of our dock, We ll proced to board You up in our AC vehicles to drive for 20 minutes to reach the community of Piedra de Moros , where You ll meet these families which will offer You the Temazcal experience which is the equivalent to the Roman Sauna. First step is to give you a explanation of some of the herbs and plants that our ancestors have used and still are in use now days ; some of them will be used to give a cleansing before taking the Temazcal Experience. You ll be sitting down inside small dome looking space previous steamed up with infusion of at least 5 herbs pour into red glared stones , all of this will be acting in your sking and body making you sweat cleaning your skin and relaxing your body . This takes 25 to 30 minutes, afterwards cool shower is offered along with a drink , usually lemon grass tea ; with this your experience is finished and we ready to bring you back to your Cruise. The whole tour takes about 3 hrs.
